Ena and I went down to Seattle on Friday to visit my friend Mike from high school and his wife Christin. Except for the four and a half hour wait at the border, which more or less killed the first day of our two day trip, we had a great time.
It was interesting to catch up with Mike, who I hadn't had a chance to talk to in about ten years. We talked about the stuff we used to do when we were kids, like making prank phone calls to this Christian call-in radio program that used to air on Sunday nights in Kingston.
I suppose when you think of high school students getting into trouble making prank phone calls is relatively tame. Nonetheless Ena assures me that this revelation has, for her, tarnished my image as an upright guy who never does anything bad. She seems rather relieved about it.
